About Lakshmi
Anne-Marie (who is also known by her spiritual name Lakshmi) is a Certified Havening Techniques® Practitioner having trained in 2019. She is also a Mindfulness MBSR Teacher. She trained at University of Bangor in 2010 in Mindfulness.
Her unique combination of Havening and Mindfulness is very effective in clearing past traumas that can limit us unconsciously, leading to a deeper joy and happiness flowing within our lives in a more expanded, trusting way.
Havening Techniques
Lakshmi is a Certified Havening Techniques® Practitioner, having been certified since 2019. Havening Techniques are a form of psychosensory therapy that uses touch to help alleviate stress, anxiety, and trauma, particularly noted for its gentle approach. Despite working with a range of highly effective therapy methods, Lakshmi has chosen Havening as her technique of choice due to its efficacy, especially for clients with complex trauma.
Mindfulness Certified
Lakshmi has been a certified MBSR teacher since 2010, following her training at the University of Bangor, UK. Over the past decade, she has taught regularly in various settings, including schools, corporate environments, and health support organizations such as cancer support charities and hospices. This diverse experience ensures she can tailor her teachings to meet the needs of different audiences, from students and professionals to individuals facing health challenges.
Wellbeing Consultant
Lakshmi offers personalised, one-on-one sessions that focus on helping you achieve profound well-being and joy. Her approach combines Meditation, Enneagram interpretation and Numerology as well as Self-Inquiry for enhancing self-awareness (and discovering your true nature), and a unique combination of Havening and Mindfulness specifically for clearing past traumas.

How long is a Havening session?
Typically your first appointment will last around 90 minutes.
Subsequent follow-up appointments tend to last up to 60 minutes.
Do i have to tell Lakshmi what my issue is - it's very personal!
No. One of the beauties of Havening Techniques is that the client is processing and healing their issue ‘internally’ which means it’s not necessary for them to share the details of the issue or event.
How much does it cost?
Lakshmi works on a cost per hour basis, the details of which will be explained to you in your WhatsApp call. Please tell her if your financial circumstances are preventing you from committing – Lakshmi will find a way to help!
Does Lakshmi do physical meetings or is it all on-line?
Meetings are held via a Zoom video call. Lakshmi also works in-person from her healing centre in the Algarve, Portugal. Please send a WhatsApp for more details if you are interested in visiting and having physical appointments with her?
Are the Havening Techniques a form of hypnosis?
No. The Havening Techniques do not involve a hypnotic trance. The client is always aware of their feelings, thoughts, and surroundings and participates fully in the process.
